Why choose PBPR?
It’s different here. It’s a personal approach, not an agency model. A senior resource will personally handle every aspect of your project. There is value in choosing an accredited consultant. You can be assured that there is professional competency, strong knowledge of best practices, and a track record of real-world experience.
Pamela Bottomley believes in the definition of public relations as aligning organizational goals with the public interest.
The Approach

Information isn’t communication. Real communication is a two-way street, and it just works better if the emphasis is on listening.
Determining what you need to do to communicate more effectively is supported by a conversation, a process that starts by exploring your current context and leads to what you truly need to excel. No focus on public relations tactics until issues and goals are defined and understood.
It looks like this:
- What brought you here?
- What do you think you need?
- Let’s test your assumptions.
- Let’s separate the issues (remember that the topic is rarely the issue).
- What would it look like if it was working?
- Why should anybody care?
